1.1 Basic info
1.1.1 What is the Release Date?
Early 2006 (Bethesda). Not before February (Take 2).

1.1.2 Will there be a collector edition?
Yes., Rumor has it it will contain a guide to the empire and a septim coin, as well as a DVD on the making of TES4 Oblivion. It is unknown if other goodies will be included (such as soundtrack, game guide, figurines) or if that rumor is exact.

1.1.3 Is any form of multiplayer support available?
No

1.1.4 Is it a direct sequel to Morrowind?
No, the story is in the same universe but stand on its own

1.1.5 What's the story, in a few words?
Find the heir, and shut down the gates of Oblivion!

1.1.6 What is Oblivion?
Oblivion is the many otherworldy realms of the Daedric Princes, demonic chaotic creatures that have toyed with the mortal plane of Mundus since the world was created by Lorkhan.

They are not demons in the christian term. They live in other planes of existence, are immortals and need to amuse themselves, much like the pagan greek gods.

1.1.7 Will any past characters make a return?
Caius Cosades is known to be coming back in this game. There is much speculation about Helseth (the king of TES3:Morrowind) and Jaguar Tharn (The villain of TES1:Arena)

1.2 Requirements
1.2.1 Platform supported
XBox 360 and PC

1.2.2 What are the requirements?
Still unspecified, however it should run fine on the Xbox 360.
Note: If playing on PC, your GPU must support Shaders 2.0 (but support for Shaders 3.0 is a plus).

Also, VXSS (Dev) mentioned the computer he used to Develop Bloodmoon (released spring 2003) can run TES4 Oblivion (he use it when testing the game)

1.2.3 What does the XBox 360 look like
>512 MB RAM
>3x 3.3 GHz PPC,
>GPU roughly betwwen the GeForce 6800 and GeForce 7800

1.2.4 What processors support shaders 2.0
For NVidia :

For ATI:
